Our bistro offers a comfortable and relaxed environment to enjoy our delicious food. Just slide the mouse over the pictures to see more of it. The bistro itself is fitted throughout with a lovely dark wood finish, which makes for a very traditional and English Pub feel during your meal. If you visit in the morning, we specialise in our English Breakfast which is served until 2pm each day. As our regular residents are aware, it is something which sets you up for a visit to the whole range of attractions within easy reach.
Every day we serve a range of special products which reflect the seasons and the local produce available.We are happy to serve you at one of the tables in the bistro, or if you prefer (on a sunny day of course) to sit outside and enjoy your food, we can serve it there too.
While our cellar is not the largest in the town, we also offer a range of wine to go with your food, as well as our delicious and high quality beers, both from our own linked brewery ‘Scottish & Newcastle’, and from independent providers.
If you would prefer a soft drink with your meal, we can offer coffee and tea, or a range of still and carbonated drinks
